  In my previous two parts upto the midday meals were finished , and a nap can be taken , if and when convenient.  Ok, so if at all we take a nap we may dream about a food we like that comes by itself. In the meanwhile you dream,  I tell about a few eatables , few petty things. When  we roamed in the mountains during our childhood in The Nilgiris, used to get many fruits, vegetables, succulents, mushroom and even leaves for eating . Those were not available in the shops except plums, peaches, pears, oranges, apples, and local guava.        In this post I tell about a few fruits and edibles which we as children went and collected, mostly picked up directly from the plants.        In my first book, four posts were left out. One was a part of  'Malai raniyin madiyil' and the other three are Away from India part 1, part 2 and part 3. The reason is as follows-  I was about to give my pendrive containing my downloaded essays, but accidentally lost the pendrive. So,  gave only my blog ID to the printer and he suffered to convert my blogs into a book form.  I gave my google blogspot ID. I have one more Wordpress blog ID that contains the three parts of  'Away from India' and purposely avoided to give the Word press ID, to make the work simple.         Now, I converted all my blog posts to Microsoft word documents, so that the printing work would be less complicated.        In this book, I included all the four posts along with the other new writings. Since the left over writings are included, the book is named as 'Mudhalaith thodarndhu' so as to mean that this book is following ...

                                              To know about the ear and symptoms (complaints) of  the ear in general.        First, let us know the parts of the ear. They are namely the external ear, middle ear and inner ear. External ear or outer ear consists of the pinna and the external auditory (ear) canal.  Pinna acts like a funnel, collects sound waves into the external ear canal. External canal is like a pathway and it sends sound waves to the middle ear.  The canal is about  two and a half cm long.  It ends at the tympanic membrane.      Tympanic membrane or Ear drum separates the external ear from the middle ear.
